Associate Attorney – Trial & Defense Team

Clyde & Co’s Miami office is seeking a motivated and talented Associate Attorney to join its Trial and Defense team. This role is ideal for a junior litigator looking to build a strong foundation in insurance defense and general liability work while gaining handson experience within a leading global law firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the management of a caseload of insurance defense and general liability matters under the supervision of senior attorneys.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, research memoranda, and case analyses.
• Conduct legal research and contribute to the development of case strategy.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, trials and client meetings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, claims representatives, and internal team members.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the Florida Bar.
• 1–3 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or general liability defense.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain highquality work product.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
